Derrick Rose says rape accuser was angry she wasn’t reimbursed for sex toy

Derrick Rose

An explosive lawsuit was filed against Derrick Rose last month alleging that the Chicago Bulls forward and two friends drugged and gang-raped a woman more than two years ago. Rose has vehemently denied the accusations, and he claims the accuser only originally became angry with him over something having to do with a sex toy.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Rose says the accuser “consented to sexual interaction with more than one co-defendant on more than one occasion, consented to sexual interactions on the day in question, and invited the defendants to her apartment and buzzed them in.” The woman is claiming Rose and two friends broke into her apartment. Rose says the accuser was perfectly fine with everything the following day and only became angry with him when he refused to reimburse her for a — ahem — prop she had used.

In the docs, Rose says the woman only began to get upset with him a few weeks or months later because she felt she should have been reimbursed for one of the sex toys she bought and used during the night in question.

Rose says the woman got even angrier with him because he started ignoring her texts.

The woman is seeking unspecified damages.

Rose played in 51 games last season for the Chicago Bulls. He split with his longtime girlfriend in late 2013, a year after she gave birth to their son. It is unclear whether this accuser is the same woman.
