This is easily one of my favorite videos on YouTube. The title tells the story. Enjoy.

So that was NBA player and soon to be All-Star point guard for the Nets, Devin Harris, getting balled up by a no-name kid from the U.K. — Stuart Tanner. Big ups to SpinMax for passing along the vid that’s already made it’s rounds on ESPN and past 3 million views according to YouTube. Now there is some background on the video provided by Stuart’s brother, Greg Tanner.

Please, please, please do not for one minute think that Stuart believes he is better than Devin. He and everyone else knows that Devin is in a whole different league (literally!!)
Stu is just a kid who loves the game…but due to some fairly serious health problems in recent years (he has the same condition that forced Dejuan Wagner to retire) hasn’t made much noise. Not that the NBA would ever have been possible anyway!

Worth noting though, this was not the first time Stu has embarrassed an NBA baller. Years ago he got Tony Delk. And fellow south Londoner, Luol Deng, once told me that Stuart is the only English guy he’d pay to watch play!

Stuart and I would like to thank Devin for being such a good sport. It was just a bit of fun which some people are taking WAY too seriously.

Look, everyone can have their moments. We even had the story of LeBron and Chris Paul teaming up for a pickup game and losing. This was a similar story. Still, it won’t change the fact that Harris is one of the Top 15 point guards in the world while Tanner’s a nobody with some serious talent. And man, was that video awesome.
