Doc Rivers blasts refs for ejecting Blake Griffin
Blake Griffin was ejected for picking up a second technical foul on Thursday, and Doc Rivers was not too happy.
He wasn’t unhappy with Griffin, mind you. No, he was more concerned with the “terrible” referees.
Rivers was incredulous when Griffin was thrown out after arguing a no-call in Thursday’s game against Phoenix. For several seconds, all he could do was stare in disbelief.
Rivers then proceeded to rip the refs, both on the court and to Rachel Nichols at halftime.
Doc Rivers after Blake Griffin ejected with second technical for complaining about non-call: "That's terrible. Nobody came to see you ref."

Doc Rivers…angry. Told me "what pisses me off is that coaches get T's for losing their composure. but nothing happens when officials do."

Rivers wasn’t feeling any better after the game. The Clippers were already missing Chris Paul and J.J. Redick, but were down just one when Griffin was ejected. The Clippers couldn’t handle that blow and ended up losing to the Suns by 14. Rivers was still upset after the game.
"I just thought it was awful," Doc Rivers on Blake's second T. "He didn't say enough." Said Forte lost his composure.

Rivers should probably have his checkbook ready, because the league is going to come calling with a fine. Griffin probably shouldn’t have tempted fate while already carrying a technical, either.
