Donald Sterling reportedly cancelled interviews with Barbara Walters, Anderson Cooper

donald-sterlingOn Friday, V. Stiviano sat down for an exclusive interview with ABC’s Barbara Walters to discuss Donald Sterling and her relationship with the Los Angeles Clippers owner.

We’ve yet to hear from Sterling, although it sounds like the original plan was for that to happen.

According to TMZ, Sterling spoke with both Walters and Anderson Cooper, but declined to go on camera for interviews because he “wasn’t prepared.”

During Stiviano’s sit-down with Walters, we heard her say she didn’t feel Sterling was racist and that he was hurting as a result of the scandal.

Eventually, Sterling will have to face the music and tell the world his side of the story. Until that happens, all we have are the words of the woman who made his remarks public and our imaginations.

Donald Sterling has, of course, been banned from attending NBA games by the league as punishment for his remarks and will not be present when the Clippers host the Golden State Warriors in game 7 of their first round playoff series. His wife Shelly, however, did attend and it apparently didn’t sit well with members of the Clippers organization, according to ESPN’s Arash Markazi.
