Donovan Mitchell takes shot at James Harden after Game 4 loss

Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell appeared to put the “salt” in Salt Lake City after going down 3-1 to the Houston Rockets on Sunday night.

Following Utah’s 100-87 loss in Game 4 of the second-round series, the rookie Mitchell took a shot at Rockets star James Harden as he entered the locker room. Here is what he had to say, per Jake Edmonds of KUTV 2News in Utah.

Harden, who is the frontrunner to win MVP this season, is often criticized for his tendency to bait the refs into foul calls with flops and/or non-basketball plays. While the scoring champion “only” shot eight free throws on Sunday (compared to 10.1 a game in the regular season), he did indeed draw some controversial fouls, including this one on Dante Exum in the first quarter:

The Jazz will now head back to Houston to try to stave off elimination in Tuesday’s Game 5. As for Mitchell, you can sense his frustration, especially after Harden drew another thoroughly ridiculous foul call earlier in the series.
