Draymond Green not watching ‘boring’ Cavaliers playoff games

Draymond Green

Draymond Green isn’t terribly impressed by the standard of Cleveland Cavalier playoff games.

The Golden State Warriors forward said he hasn’t watched much of Cleveland’s playoff run thus far, because he finds it “boring.”

“I thought teams would compete a little harder,” Green said, via Anthony Slater of Bay Area News Group. “I just watched San Antonio-(Houston). I like to watch good basketball. When you watch Cleveland play, you only watching one side of good basketball. That’s kind of weak. I like watching a good game, not even necessarily that it’s going to be a close game. I like to watch teams playing good basketball. When you watch them, you watch one team playing good basketball and everybody else just…do something. I don’t know what that something is.”

Green dismissed those who would argue that Golden State’s systematic dismantling of rivals is equally bland.

“But Utah is still playing good basketball,” Green said. “Regardless if they win or not, I think we’re a better team, but at the same time, they still play a good brand of basketball.”

Both Cleveland and Golden State have yet to lose a game in these playoffs, with one of the Cavaliers’ playoff rivals offering a blunt assessment of things. They seem like they’re on a collision course for the NBA Finals for a third year in a row.
