Draymond Green reportedly slapped taunting fan at nightclub

Draymond-Green

Draymond Green was arrested for suspicion of assault over the weekend, and various reports indicate he was at a nightclub in East Lansing when the incident took place.

Evan Sernoffsky of the San Francisco Chronicle heard from a source that Green hit a fan who was taunting him and there were no significant injuries.

The East Lansing Police Department provided Ethan Sherwood Strauss of ESPN with some more information, confirming that Green was arrested for assault and calling the incident “basically an altercation between two guys.”

One person who claims to have been at the scene of the incident — which police say took place at Conrad’s Grill in East Lansing — insists Green was provoked and that he has video proving the Golden State Warriors star’s innocence.

Green was released on $200 bond and has 10 days to return to East Lansing to be arraigned.

UPDATE: New reports indicate the alleged incident involved Green and a Michigan State football player.
