Draymond Green takes being targeted on vital possessions as disrespect
In Draymond Green’s mind, essentially, if you come at the king, you’d best not miss.
After the Milwaukee Bucks went at him down two on the decisive final possession of their game against Golden State on Saturday night, Green called them out, saying he takes it as disrespect.
“Definitely,” Green said, via Chris Haynes of ESPN. “I think that’s disrespectful to me. I take that as disrespect. Don’t go at me for game. And of course I’ll say that, and next game [they’ll] get game or something, but whatever.”
We know Green is fueled by things he considers disrespectful. Being targeted on big plays is one of them. Hey, it’s gotten him this far, so whatever motivates him, more power to him.
