Draymond Green guarantees Warriors win Game 6: ‘book it’
Draymond Green is expressing confidence in his Golden State Warriors ahead of Saturday’s Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals.
The Warriors lost Game 5 of their series with the Houston Rockets on Thursday, putting them down 3-2 in the series and facing elimination. But Green said that the Warriors would be back in Houston for a Game 7 of the series, meaning they would win Game 6 at home.
“We’ll be back here for Game 7,” Green said via ESPN.
“We still winning this,” Green told The Athletic. “Book it.”
Even after losing Game 5 — their second straight defeat to Houston — Steve Kerr said he felt “great” about where his squad was.
They have an amazing feeling of confidence despite being a game away from elimination. But with Chris Paul’s hamstring injury keeping him out, the Warriors’ prospects for winning the series just got a whole lot better.
