Wade and the Chicago Bulls finally reached a buyout agreement over the weekend, and the Cavs were believed to be the frontrunner to sign him all along. There were some rumblings that Wade could return to Miami, but his relationship with Pat Riley is reportedly still icy.
James, who is close friends with Wade, said Monday that he would love if his former Heat teammate joined him in Cleveland. With all the star players who have changed teams this offseason, it only makes sense that Wade is teaming up with LeBron again. The most insane NBA summer of all time has continued into the early fall.
