Dwyane Wade says he’s ‘not concerned’ by Bulls’ recent struggles

After nearly a decade-and-half in the Association, Chicago Bulls guard Dwyane Wade has just about seen it all. So he’s not particularly worried about the team’s struggles as of late.

After a 108-97 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday, the Bulls’ sixth loss in their last nine games, Wade wasn’t fretting.

“I’m not concerned,” said the 12-time All-Star, per Nick Friedell of ESPN. “I’ve been through everything; you might want to ask somebody else that. My 14th year, this is my first season here. I’m learning this team, learning these guys, so I’m fine.

“Obviously, it stings that what you see happen in the games you want to correct, but you got to go through the process, as we say,” Wade continued. “We’re learning how tough it is to win in this league, no matter if you’re on the road or at home.”

For his part, Wade, 34, has looked great this season with averages of 19.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game. But developing compatibility with his equally ball-dominant teammates in Rajon Rondo and Jimmy Butler has been an ongoing endeavor. Furthermore, the Bulls (rather remarkably) don’t have a single player over the age of 25 on their roster outside of the starting five.

Wade has maintained that his return to Chicago was about more than just basketball, so it makes sense for him not to be sweating the little bumps and bruises along the way.
