Enes Kanter tweets hilarious joke about Kevin Garnett
Enes Kanter paid tribute to Kevin Garnett on the day the NBA legend announced his retirement with one hilarious joke.
Here’s what the Oklahoma City Thunder big man tweeted about KG:
KG finally retiring and joining his knees,
retired 6 years ago. #Respect #ThankYouKG pic.twitter.com/SqsedYrSu0— Enes Kanter (@Enes_Kanter) September 24, 2016
The tweet was all in good fun, especially when you consider that six seasons ago, Garnett helped lead the Boston Celtics to the Eastern Conference semifinals. The year before that, his C’s lost in the NBA Finals to the Lakers.
But some humor on what could be considered a sad day for NBA fans is certainly appreciated. Garnett entered the NBA straight out of high school and went on to become one of the greatest players in league history. A 15-time All-Star, one-time NBA champion and former NBA MVP, Garnett will be missed. Although KG probably won’t miss having young players bust his chops for being an old man.
