Fan who rushed court with shirt asking LeBron to return to Cleveland has ban lifted

Cleveland fan LeBron shirt

Remember that fan who ran onto the court when the Miami Heat played the Cleveland Cavaliers two seasons ago with a shirt begging LeBron James to return to Cleveland in 2014? What a nut that guy was, huh? LeBron had won two championships with the Heat and was aiming for a third. There was no chance of him ever playing for the Cavs again. Oh, wait…

James Blair wasn’t so crazy, after all. Running onto the floor at Quicken Loans Arena got him banned from Cavs games, but LeBron didn’t seem to mind. He even patted Blair on the head before he was escorted off by security. And now that LeBron has done as Blair asked, the fan will be allowed to watch King James play in person.

Fear the Sword confirmed with the Cavs that Blair will indeed be allowed at Quicken Loans Arena again this season.

Maybe LeBron told the Cavs to give the guy a break. He obviously cares about Cleveland fans on some level, otherwise he wouldn’t have returned. Hey, Blair’s stunt was at least more clever than burning LeBron’s jersey or sitting or heckling him from the stands. That’s gotta count for something.
