Fred Hoiberg tried to motivate Bulls with ‘Dumb and Dumber’ clip
The Chicago Bulls are just about out of ideas. They haven’t been formally eliminated from playoff contention yet, but they need to go 3-0 while the Indiana Pacers go 0-3 to make it happen, which is almost certainly not going to happen.
It hasn’t stopped coach Fred Hoiberg from trying to convince his team otherwise.
Hoiberg said he spliced clip of "Dumb and Dumber" into film session this AM. One about saying there's still a chance.

This would be the clip in question:
Hey, when all else fails, you might as well try it. But did it help at all?
Hoiberg said more players knew the "Dumb and Dumber" clip than the "Animal House" clip he showed earlier this season.

Well, that’s a start, I suppose.
Whether the players will respond is anybody’s guess, given this report. They could do everything right and still miss the playoffs, so it may not matter, but at least the coach has a sense of humor about things.
