Gilbert Arenas suing ex-girlfriend for $10 million

Gilbert Arenas has had his fair share of trouble with women over the years, and the former NBA star is now seeking a lot of money from an ex-girlfriend as a result.

According to a report from TMZ, Arenas has filed a lawsuit against a woman who got a restraining order against him in June. The woman, Janelle Reeves, says she dated Arenas and Arenas harassed her after they broke up, including when he allegedly threatened to send explicit videos of her to her son. The restraining order was dismissed after Reeves failed to show up for a hearing.

Now, Arenas is suing Reeves and claiming she made the entire story up. He’s seeking $10 million, citing the fact that he was humiliated by the ordeal and lost his gig with Yahoo Sports because of it. The lawsuit states that “Reeves created the false impression of supposedly having received threatening messages by making copies of various texts that she created and sent to herself.”

If the drama sounds familiar, you may be thinking of the time Arenas accused the mother of his children of creating a fake social media account to make him look bad. That same woman also had Arenas served with child support papers during halftime of a game.

Arenas played for four different teams during his NBA career and made more than $160 million on the court.
