Gordon Hayward making progress in return from injury
Utah Jazz fans have some news that should get them excited. Gordon Hayward was seen shooting around prior to Friday’s game against the Lakers. It was the first time Hayward was publicly seen shooting with both hands since dislocating a finger on his left hand earlier this month.

Luckily the broken left ring finger did not require surgery. The recovery time was initially pegged at 4-6 weeks, which means a likely return for Hayward is mid-November. Him being able to shoot around already is a good sign.
Hayward, 26, has developed into one of the better players in the NBA. He’s averaged over 19 points a game for two straight seasons.
Hayward is expected to opt of his contract after the season and test free agency, though the Jazz are confident they’ll be able to re-sign him.
