Gregg Popovich admits he does not know when Kawhi Leonard will feel ready
Gregg Popovich is just as confused by Kawhi Leonard’s status as the rest of us are.
The San Antonio Spurs coach said Sunday that when Leonard “and his group” say he’s ready, he’ll be ready to play.
Pop said there has been no word from Kawhi and his "group" in New York about his status: "I don’t know when he and his group are going to feel like they are ready to go. If I knew, he’d be here. When he and his group feel he’s ready, then he’ll be ready." #Spurs

If you’re a believer that there is some tension in the Spurs organization over the handling of Leonard’s injury, this will probably go into your evidence file. Popovich may well be referring to Leonard’s doctors, but the frustration is certainly palpable here.
