Comedian Hannibal Buress hilariously accuses Isaiah Thomas of point-shaving
Isaiah Thomas’ 2017-18 season has become such a head-scratcher that he has some wondering (albeit jokingly) if he is actively trying to throw games.
In a post to his Twitter account on Monday, comedian Hannibal Buress hilariously accused the Los Angeles Lakers guard of point-shaving after an odd sequence against the Atlanta Hawks where he appeared to blatantly throw the ball away. Here is the video (but be forewarned about the foul language):

Indeed, Thomas has been frustratingly bad this season, and his numbers with the Lakers so far (13.2 points, 4.2 assists per game) are somehow even worse than they were with the Cleveland Cavaliers (14.7 points, 4.5 assists a game).
While his continued recovery from a major hip injury may be partly to blame, Thomas has not won over any fans lately with the way he has handled himself on or off the court. It sounds like Buress is included in that category as well.
