Isaiah Thomas rips Celtics after Warriors loss: ‘We gave up’
The Boston Celtics were hanging in there against the Golden State Warriors until the third quarter on Friday night, when they were effectively buried by a 24-3 run.
That left Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas very unhappy with everyone associated with the team – including the coaching staff.
Isaiah Thomas on 3rd quarter: "We gave up. Coaches too, started subbing. I don't know how I only played 27 minutes. We gave up."

The Celtics are just 6-6 after coming into the season with lofty ambitions, and Thomas has been one of his own squad’s leading critics. Seeing his team capitulate so completely against the Warriors will have been very discouraging, because they were staying in the game up to that point.
