Isaiah Thomas calls out NBA coaches over Brad Stevens award snub
Isaiah Thomas still has a lot of love for his former Boston Celtics coach.
The current Los Angeles Laker was aghast that Celtics coach Brad Stevens did not win Coach of the Year, and he made sure everyone knew it on Twitter.
No way in hell Brad Stevens doesn’t win Coach of the year. No disrespect to the other head coaches but He’s by far the best coach in the NBA

Thomas was reacting to the fact that the Coaches Association awarded its Coach of the Year on Wednesday to Toronto’s Dwane Casey, with Stevens not receiving a single vote from his peers.
What is being missed is that this is one of a couple of COY awards. This one is voted one by the Coaches Association. The "official", traditional COY is still TBA.
Now it is curious that Brad Stevens peers didn't even give him a single vote. That seems odd. https://t.co/ulM3g7WM76

That is a weird one, but the prominent award, as voted on by sportswriters, has not yet been decided. Stevens still has a chance there. And hey, Stevens stands no chance of being fired by the Celtics, unlike the man who beat him to this particular award.
