Jalen Rose burns Derek Fisher with Valentine’s Day joke (Video)

Some nasty rumors have been flying around about Derek Fisher since he was fired by the New York Knicks last week, and Jalen Rose has been listening closely to them.

During an appearance on “Mike and Mike in the Morning” on Tuesday, Rose spoke about spending time with his Valentine. He took the opportunity to drop a well-timed joke about Fisher.

“I heard a rumor that if you don’t spend time with your Valentine, Derek Fisher will,” Rose said with a straight face.

And there will be plenty more where that came from, folks.

As most of you know, Memphis Grizzlies forward Matt Barnes got in a fight with Fisher during the offseason because Fisher was dating Barnes’ estranged wife. Some of the alleged details from the incident made Barnes sound like a madman, but he later claimed he had the support of some Knicks players for going after Fisher.

More recently, there has been talk that rumors of Fisher dating Knicks players’ girlfriends have picked up so much steam that one player even asked his lady about it. Fisher had better start getting used to the wisecracks.
