Jason Kidd: John Henson is Bucks’ starting center
The Milwaukee Bucks have put together a top-10 defense to begin the 2016-17 season, and head coach Jason Kidd wants to make sure that it stays that way.
Kidd said on Monday that John Henson, who entered Milwaukee’s starting lineup in a win on Saturday over the Memphis Grizzlies, will continue to start at center for the team moving forward, per Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Bucks coach Jason Kidd said today that John Henson will remain starter at center. "I think John has come with some energy," Kidd said.

Henson, 25, has only started 45 of the 265 games he’s played in his four-year career and is averaging just 3.4 points and 5.3 rebounds in 14.5 minutes per game this season. But he adds more length and shot-blocking to the Bucks’ starting five, which matters for a team that is currently ranked 10th in the league in defensive rating through their first nine games (per NBA.com).
Kidd has never been shy about making bold tweaks to his lineup, so we’ll see if this one winds up paying dividends for Milwaukee as well.
