JJ Redick has to fight back tears after Game 7 loss to Jazz

Chris Paul and Blake Griffin will get all the headlines, but J.J. Redick is another player who may have played his final game in a Clippers uniform.

After the Clippers’ season ended with a Game 7 loss to the Utah Jazz on Sunday, the veteran shooting guard had to fight back tears as he addressed the media, per Bill Oram of the Orange County Register.

Redick, who will turn 33 in June, struggled mightily in the first-round series with just 9.1 points per game on 38.0 percent shooting from the field and a noticeably poor showing on the defensive end. He is now set to become an unrestricted free agent after playing the last four seasons with the Clippers.

We heard some less than favorable quotes from Redick about the state of the Clippers during the regular season, and it seems that both players and coaches can sense that the end of the team as we know it may be upon us this summer.
