Warriors owner Joe Lacob bowed down to Klay Thompson (Video)

Joe-Lacob-bow-Klay-Thomson

Klay Thompson put the Golden State Warriors on his back when they needed him the most on Saturday night, scoring 41 points and breaking the NBA record for most three-pointers made in a playoff game. His performance was so good that his boss even bowed down to him after the game.

Following Golden State’s Game 6 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, Warriors owner Joe Lacoob was spotted bowing down to Thompson in the tunnel headed into the locker room.

Because of Thompson and Stephen Curry (31 points), the Warriors kept their season alive despite trailing by five at halftime in front of an incredibly rowdy OKC crowd. Just when it seemed like the Thunder were in control, Thompson made 11 three-pointers and Curry added six of his own.

“We all really, really didn’t want this to be our last game,” Thompson said, per Anthony Slater of The Oklahoman. “Me and Steph, we had to hunt our shot.”

Earlier in the week, we shared some info with you that shed light on just how nervous Lacob seemed with his team looking outmatched early in the series. Suddenly, the Warriors are heading back to Oakland with the series tied 3-3. Can you really blame Lacob for bowing at Thompson’s feet?
