Joel Embiid says he is ‘f—ing sick and tired of being babied’ after sitting Game 2
Joel Embiid still has yet to make his postseason debut, and it sounds like his frustration is getting the better of him.
After the Philadelphia 76ers lost Game 2 of their first-round playoff series against the Miami Heat on Monday to even it at one game apiece, Embiid took to Instagram to blow off some steam. In a post to his Story, the Sixers center wrote that he was “f—ing sick and tired of being babied.”

Embiid has been held out of the first two games of the playoffs as he continues to recover from a left orbital fracture suffered at the end of March. His status for Game 3 in Miami on Thursday also remains uncertain. The All-Star big man clearly feels that he is ready to play though, and this is not the first time that he has openly questioned the Sixers’ handling of him this season.
