Joel Embiid appears to respond to LeBron spurning Sixers
LeBron James decided to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers instead of completing The Process in Philadelphia, and Sixers center Joel Embiid seemed to have an interesting response to the news.
Hours after James’ decision, Embiid tweeted a pic of himself shooting over two defenders in this year’s playoffs with the caption “MOOD #TheProcess”

What makes Embiid’s tweet notable is that appeared to be a subtle callback to James’ infamous Instagram post in November. The former MVP had posted a popular meme from the TV show “Arthur” and wrote “Mood…” as the caption.
The Sixers remained in the mix for James until the final stages and even met with his representatives earlier in the day on Sunday. Embiid, meanwhile, was doing all he could to convince The King to come to Philly, even tweeting an apparent argument against James signing with the Lakers in the days prior.
The Lakers are FOREVER gonna be Kobe’s and Magic’s team…. Process that

The 24-year-old Embiid obviously has to be peeved that James did not sign with the Sixers and even more so considering that he instead chose the Lakers, a team Embiid has taken other shots at on social media in recent days.
