John Wall wore Cowboys jersey to Redskins home game
John Wall has been a Dallas Cowboys fan his whole life, and playing basketball in the nation’s capital is not going to change that.
On Sunday, Wall showed up to the Washington Redskins’ game against the Cowboys — which was in D.C. — wearing an Emmitt Smith throwback jersey.

As Kurt Helin of Pro Basketball Talk notes, Wall grew up in North Carolina but his mother always loved the Cowboys. This does not sit well with those people who believe you’re supposed to ditch your lifelong rooting interests when you’re drafted by a particular pro sports franchise. Although, fans of this NFL team seem to have gotten over it with their favorite player.
