John Wall to reportedly have knee procedure, miss up to two months
John Wall has been dealing with discomfort in his knee for much of the season, and the star point guard is reportedly planning to have the issue addressed. Unfortunately for the Washington Wizards, he will miss a significant amount of time because of it.
According to Candace Buckner of the Washington Post, Wall is scheduled to have a procedure on his knee Wednesday that could keep him out up to two months.
DEVELOPING: John Wall will undergo a knee procedure tomorrow (described as a clean up). He will miss six weeks & will not play in upcoming All-Star weekend, The Washington Post has learned.

Wall initially suffered the knee injury in early November, and he has been managing inflammation since. The 27-year-old is averaging 19.4 points and 9.3 assists per game and was elected to the Eastern Conference All-Star team, but he will not take part in the festivities.
The Wizards are currently the No. 6 seed in the East with a record of 27-22. They could struggle to remain in the playoff hunt with Wall missing multiple games.
