JR Smith gives moving speech about family after Game 7

In a Game 7 that involved a clutch 3-pointer from Kyrie Irving, a chasedown block from LeBron James out of nowhere, and Cleveland winning its first sports championship in over 50 years, JR Smith may have stolen the show.

Smith was emotional from the start as soon as the Cavs won Game 7 and beat the Warriors. He began crying while hugging his teammates. Then he broke down even more during his postgame press conference as he delivered a soliloquy in which he showed his appreciation for his family.

Smith, often viewed as a goofball throughout his NBA career, won a championship with the Cavs, and he did it on Father’s Day. His dad Earl was in the media room watching the speech. They shared a nice hug afterwards:
