Raptors assistant says Kawhi Leonard is in ‘great shape’
It sounds like Kawhi Leonard is exactly where the Toronto Raptors want him to be.
Raptors assistant Phil Handy had nothing but praise for where Leonard is at physically. He has no limitations and, according to Handy, looks to be in great shape and unlikely to face any setbacks.
“He’s doing great. He’s in great shape,” Handy told the Toronto Talk Sports podcast, via Ashish Mathur of Amico Hoops. “His body looks good. He’s feeling good. He’s moving well, so I don’t anticipate any issues or problems.”
Leonard has certainly been working out with some high-quality opposition. He looks to be full speed ahead toward the new season, where he’ll be expected to lead his new Raptors team into contention for an NBA Finals appearance out of the Eastern Conference.
