Kevin Durant ejected for hitting Justin Anderson in head (Video)

Kevin Durant was ejected for hitting Justin Anderson in the head in the final minutes of Oklahoma City’s 119-108 win in Game 4 over the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.

Durant swatted Anderson in the head and received a flagrant-2 foul that resulted in his ejection:

Saturday’s ejection continues a pattern of physical play from Durant in the series. He also hit Salah Mejri with an elbow in Game 3:

The Mavericks will likely push for Durant to be suspended for Game 5, but that would require some serious action from the league.

All in all, there were a lot of incidents in Game 4. In addition to Durant, Russell Westbrook got a technical for a bench incident with Salah Mejri, and Serge Ibaka got a tech for throwing an elbow, too.

Dallas head coach Rick Carlisle certainly seems justified for making these comments about the Thunder.
