Kevin Durant loses bet, has to wear Packers shirt
As he’s shown on numerous occasions, Kevin Durant is a big Redskins fan. Unfortunately, his favorite team was unable to come out on top in last weekend’s game against the Packers. The loss by the Redskins meant Durant had to pay a up on a bet he made with a teammate.
Steve Novak is who Durant placed a friendly wager on the Packers-Redskins game with and he was, understandably, happy Green Bay won. Durant, however, was not as you can in the above photo shared by Novak via his Twitter account along with the caption “A wk late but @KDTrey5 is a man of his word since we took down his Redskins? He wanted to show love to the @packers”
Durant definitely didn’t want to show love to the Packers. He was forced to is more like it. Green Bay, of course, lost to the Cardinals on Saturday in overtime, thanks in part to the heroics of Larry Fitzgerald.
Green Bay’s loss did give Durant some ammunition to respond to Novak with. It likely won’t replace the feeling of having to be photographed in that green and gold shirt though.
