The Bucks are Butler’s hometown team as he is from Racine, Wisc.
Butler has found himself benched for most of the season. He has seen minutes in just one of one of six games this month. Last month that figure was just five out of 15 games.
Now in his 14th NBA season, the 35-year-old is averaging just 2.5 points per game since he’s only played in eight games all year. His skills have declined with age, but he is still a reliable player and can provide a team like the Bucks some veteran leadership, especially since Milwaukee is now without Greg Monroe because of a knee injury.
