Klay Thompson celebrated first pay check of new contract with Chick-fil-A
Last year, the Warriors and Klay Thompson agreed to a four-year extension worth $70 million to keep the sharp-shooting back court of he and Stephen Curry together through the 2016-2017 season. The extension kicked in this season, meaning Thompson is making quite a bit more now and that calls for a celebration.
Thompson recently received the first pay check of his new contract and headed straight to one of his favorite spots.

Philip Rivers celebrated his new contract with a pizza from Domino’s with pepperoni, jalapenos, and black olives, which doesn’t sound half bad. A spicy chicken sandwich and some waffle fries from Chick-fil-A is pretty good though, so I definitely can’t hate on Klay’s choice.
