Knicks players have closed-door meeting with Phil Jackson
Amidst a troubled start to the season, New York Knicks players and coaches sat down for a closed-door meeting with team president Phil Jackson on Saturday.
According to ESPN’s Ian Begley, Carmelo Anthony was pleased with the meeting, and seemed particularly happy that Jackson did more listening than talking.
Phil Jackson, the players & coaches met Saturday & talked about different issues surrounding the team. Carmelo said it was productive.

Meeting w/players, coaches & Phil lasted about an hour. Did Phil talk? "Nah, he actually just listened this time. Which is good," Melo said.

Jackson hasn’t had a great week, and it’s possible that some of his players took offense to his remarks. Plus, the Knicks were 5-7 at the time of the meeting, and some players definitely haven’t been happy with how things have gone. Best that they clear things up now before things spiral too far out of control.
