Kobe Bryant thinks Warriors should keep going for wins record
With the Golden State Warriors suffering a shock home loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday, renewed questions have been asked of whether the team should continue pursuing the single-season wins record or start resting players with an eye on the playoffs.
If it were up to Kobe Bryant, it wouldn’t even be a question.
Kobe on GSW: "If I’m them and I’ve got a chance to set a record, I’m trying to set the damn record. I don’t care what anyone else says."

More Kobe on GSW & single-season wins record: "If you’ve got a chance to do that, go do it — and win a championship."

Kobe is ultra-competitive, so this is a pretty predictable take from him. He already told the team to go make history earlier in the season. Still, with the Warriors needing to win their last four games – including twice against the Spurs, who may not rest their players – it seems like an increasingly tall order. Couple that with this recent admission from Steve Kerr and the Warriors may have to reign it in a bit, likely to Kobe’s chagrin.
