Given the date of the surgery, it would be reasonable to think Porzingis will not be fully recovered by the start of next season.
Prior to the injury, Porzingis was enjoying his best season since being drafted No. 4 overall in the 2015 NBA Draft. He was averaging 22.9 points and 2.4 blocks per game. Porzingis was also named to his first All-Star team.
