Kyrie Irving explains Cavs water bottle flipping (Video)
Near the end of their blowout win over the New York Knicks Wednesday night, some of the Cleveland Cavaliers players decided to get in on one of the latest social media trends.
With the Cavs up 29 points and less than a minute remaining in the game, cameras caught LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and a few others trying to flip a water bottle and get it to stand upright.
Irving later explained the little game, telling reporters you’re basically a “legend” if you can get the bottle to land upright.

Irving’s not kidding. Here’s what a true legend of the water bottle flipping game looks like:
While none of the Cavs players were able to accomplish the feat, they looked like they were having about as much fun on the bench as the Warriors were the other night when Klay Thompson did this. That’s all that matters, right?
UPDATE: As LBS reader @bRoundy pointed out, Irving did, in fact, pull off the flip.
