Kyrie Irving says he will not return against Thunder
Kyrie Irving is not returning to the Cavaliers’ lineup against the Thunder Thursday night, after all.
On Wednesday morning, a report indicated that Irving has been cleared to play and will suit up against Oklahoma City as long as he passes one final series of physical tests. Irving tweeted that the report is inaccurate.
Sorry to dwindle the news, but I won't be returning tmrw. It was wrongfully reported. When I do come back you'll hear it directly from me.

This is shaping up to be a very bizarre situation. Earlier this week, we heard that Irving has been cleared to play for roughly a week and has looked fine in practice. There are also rumors that he is becoming irritated with the team for keeping him on the shelf.
It’s unclear what the play is for Irving. The Cavs obviously want to make sure he is fully recovered from his knee injury, but you have to wonder how long they can keep him out if tension is building.
