LA school denies that LeBron James’ son is committed there
The intrigue over where LeBron James will play next season is so intense that people are looking to his kids for potential hints.
Over the past year, there have been rumors about LeBron and his family checking out schools in different cities. The thinking is that LeBron could leave Cleveland as a free agent this summer and his kids will need to attend school, so that could tip the James’ intentions.
Over the weekend, a Reddit user got things kicked off by saying that LeBron James Jr. aka “Bronny” was enrolled at a school in Los Angeles for the fall. And in an interview with Black Sports Online, Gary Payton said Bronny was committed to Sierra Canyon High School in Los Angeles.
Spectrum SportsNet’s Chris Palmer was told by the school that Bronny has not committed to Sierra Canyon.
Just talked to a Sierra Canyon official on the rumor that Bronny James has committed: "That's news to us. He hasn't."

Sierra Canyon is located in “The Valley” part of LA. Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Duke’s Marvin Bagley and Willow Smith are among the school’s famous alumni. The sons of former NBA players Kenyon Martin and Scottie Pippen are also on the basketball team, as well as top recruit Cassius Stanley.
LeBron’s family, which has a home in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles, has previously checked out schools in the city. In February, there was a report about them also checking out schools in a certain Eastern Conference city.
