Lamar Odom reportedly removed from flight for being drunk, vomiting

Lamar-Odom

Lamar Odom was reportedly removed from a flight on Monday night because he was drunk and vomiting.

Witnesses told TMZ that Odom spent a good amount of time in the Delta lounge at LAX airport prior to boarding his flight for NYC and was “pounding down beers and whiskey.” He was described as “wasted” by the time he boarded the flight, and he supposedly sprinted to the bathroom and threw up just before the plane was about to take off.

Here’s more from TMZ:

Two passengers in first class tell TMZ, Lamar went to 4B and sat down, but as the plane was about to pull back he bolted for the front, threw up in the galley and then walked in the bathroom and with the door open threw up again. When he came out of the bathroom, we’re told he had vomit on his clothes.

The passengers tell us the flight attendants “gently” escorted Lamar off the plane, and a cleaning crew came on board to deal with the mess. The flight attendants put Lamar’s carry-on belongings in a plastic bag and removed them from the plane.

The witness accounts get even more embarrassing from there. Odom allegedly returned 10 minutes later with vomit on his clothes and proceeded to take his seat. After another wobbly trip to the restroom, one of the passengers piped up and said something.

“Don’t you know his history?” the passenger reportedly asked. “I don’t want a dead body at 30,000 feet.”

Odom was once again removed from the plane, which ended up arriving in New York 40 minutes behind schedule.

We haven’t heard many good things about Odom’s struggle with addiction lately. Khloe Kardashian has reportedly kicked him out of the home she was renting for him after friends discovered signs that the former NBA star could be using drugs again. You can read more about what was found at the home here.

All indications are that Odom still very much needs help.
