Lamar Odom suffering from short-term memory loss
Lamar Odom has been spending some time with friends and family since he was released from the hospital and transferred to a rehabilitation facility, which is obviously a positive sign. He is, however, still having some issues with his memory.
Khloe Kardashian spoke with Ellen DeGeneres via FaceTime recently while her sister Kourtney was on the show, and Khloe revealed that Odom is doing a lot better but still struggling to remember some things.
“His long term memory is great,” she said, via Jaclyn Hendricks of the New York Post. “His short term memory isn’t so good, but I mean if I met someone earlier today I probably wouldn’t remember either so I mean that’s understandable.”
Khloe said that Odom, who recently visited with the Kardashian clan at their home, has been starting to inquire more about what exactly happened to him.
“Every day he’ll ask me so what happened to me,” Kardashian explained. “Like today specifically, he was like ‘How many tubes did I have in me again?’ And I’m like I don’t know what’s too serious to tell you, but I’m honest.”
Khloe had previously said that Odom was unaware that a drug overdose landed him in the hospital, and she considers it a positive sign that he is now “ready to know.”
Odom clearly still has a long way to go with his recovery, but there have been plenty of positive signs lately. While Khloe recently shared some disturbing details from the couple’s marriage, its sounds like her relationship with Odom remains friendly.
