The Pokemon Go smartphone game has become a phenomenon, causing people to completely forget about their surroundings. It’s even made its way into the NBA world.

During Thursday’s summer league game between the Lakers and Cavaliers, Larry Nance Jr. suffered an injury to his right wrist that was thought to be serious. However, the early speculation of a fracture proved to not be true and the Lakers’ 23-year-old forward was diagnosed with just a sprain.

While the the news proved to be better than expected for the second-year player, it will apparently have an impact on his playing of Pokemon Go. Nance tweeted on Friday he will now have to learn how to catch Pokemon with his left hand.

A member of the Jazz recently watched a summer league game from court side and got a little Pokemon time in during the process. Nance may not go that route, but he will have time to practice with his left hand while his right wrist heals.
