LaVar Ball draws massive crowd at Lakers preseason game
The most popular man in the building at the Los Angeles Lakers’ preseason opener on Saturday may well have been LaVar Ball.
The Ball family patriarch held court at the Honda Center ahead of the team’s preseason game, and the line to meet him was an impressive one.

This isn’t that much of a surprise given that Lonzo Ball is viewed as the future of the Lakers. LaVar has been outspoken about how bright that future is — and really, he’s a personality in his own right. Maybe some of the folks that met him were treated to some more bold predictions about the future of the organization.
