LaVar Ball shares thoughts on receiving F from Better Business Bureau

If you thought some measly negativity from the Better Business Bureau would discourage LaVar Ball from doing what he does best, boy were you wrong.

On Monday, people starting taking note of Ball’s Big Baller Brand company having an F rating with the Better Business Bureau, which is the lowest possible rating. A file for the company that was opened back on April 18 indicates there have already been 32 complaints filed, including 12 that supposedly went ignored and five that were unsolved. Some people even claimed they never received items they paid for, but Ball isn’t issuing any apologies.

“Better Business Bureau is as outdated as the Yellow Pages,” he told ESPN’s Darren Rovell. “Who cares about them? Tell them that Yelp! has replaced the Better Business Bureau. We honestly thought the Better Business Bureau was out of business. The new BBB stands for the Big Baller Brand.”

Ball said customers complaining about items not being delivered on time is expected to be an issue during the holidays, but he insists customer service is a priority. He also has a guess about where some of the Better Business Bureau complaints originated.

“Holidays always slows shipping,” Ball said. “But we stay on top of customer service. It’s probably Nike and adidas complaining about not getting their Big Baller Brand merchandise.”

Remember, Ball is the same person who has refused to thank the President of the United States for helping to keep his son out of legal trouble in China. You really think he’s going to publicly apologize to people who haven’t been satisfied with his apparel company?

Ball has already gotten some high-profile people to endorse his brand, so that’s probably all he cares about. If your $500 shoes take a couple of months to arrive, don’t say you haven’t been warned.
