LeBron James thinks he should be NBA MVP
There are many deserving candidates for NBA MVP, but LeBron James is backing himself.
James said Monday that if he had a vote, he would cast it for himself in the MVP race.
“I would vote for me,” James told Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press. “The body of work, how I’m doing it, what’s been happening with our team all year long, how we’ve got so many injuries and things of that nature, guys in and out, to be able to still keep this thing afloat, I definitely would vote me.”
James has a point, and his 27.4 points, 9.1 assists and 8.6 rebounds per game certainly speak for themselves. Ultimately though, thanks in part to plays like this, odds are he’ll have to concede the award to James Harden when the season ends.
