LeBron doesn’t want Tristan Thompson bringing Khloe Kardashian around Cavs?
The relationship between Cleveland Cavaliers big man Tristan Thompson and Khloe Kardashian has gotten serious in a hurry, and some of Thompson’s teammates may feel uneasy about that. According to one report, LeBron James doesn’t want Thompson bringing Kardashian around the team.
A recent story from HollywoodLife.com claims LeBron is unhappy Thompson is dating a “drama magnet,” and the two players had a discussion about it before the season opener on Tuesday night. They even supposedly made a childish bet.
“Tristan isn’t taking any crap from his teammates anymore. As far as he’s concerned, Khloe’s coming to every damn game she chooses,” the insider reveals. “Tristan told LeBron straight up before last night’s game that Khloe was coming and that was that.” Boom!
But wait, there’s more. “Tristan told LeBron that Khloe is his good luck charm, and that if they lost last night, then he’d consider asking her not to come in the future,” the source adds. How cute is it that he thinks Khloe is lucky?!
“They obviously won, and after the game, Tristan had an I-told-you-so moment with LeBron,” the insider also tells us. LeBron could only smile!
This story is hard to believe on many levels, but would you be surprised if LeBron was concerned having a Kardashian around would create unnecessary distractions? Let’s not forget that one NBA player got wrapped up in a total sham marriage with Khloe’s sister Kim. And we all know about Khloe’s link to Lamar Odom and at least one other NBA star.
The Cavs are trying to defend their NBA championship by keeping up with the already-crowned Golden State Warriors. The last thing LeBron wants is someone on the team becoming the next star of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
