LeBron James goes on Twitter rant, wants coaches to be harder on players
LeBron James went on an Twitter rant Sunday to share his opinion that coaches need to be harder on players and push them more in order to drive them towards success.
James reflected on how some of his coaches pushed him and pleaded for current coaches to do the same, rather than sugarcoat things for fear of losing the player.
Here’s what he said:
Man if it wasn't for Big Frank, Bruce Kelker, Willie Earl, @CoachDambrot @CoachDruJoyce I wouldn't be the player/man I am today! As a kid…

It’s unclear what prompted the rant from James, but when you have a coach like Frank Martin in the Final Four — and he’s known as someone who yells at his players and pushes them — it reminds us that all sorts of coaching styles work.
Coaches should keep all this in mind when they’re recruiting LeBron’s sons.
