Luka Doncic has some hilarious goals for when he becomes an NBA star

Luka Doncic

Because he spent the season dominating at the professional level in Europe, many people are unfamiliar with Luka Doncic’s impressive skillset. Even less have gotten a glimpse of the star point guard’s outgoing personality, but he’s sure to endear himself to NBA fans wherever he ends up.

Doncic entertained reporters this week by sharing some of his personal goals for after he is drafted by an NBA team. On the court, he is hoping to posterize his old friend Kristaps Porzingis at Madison Square Garden.

“But it would be so hard to posterize him — too big!” Doncic admitted, according to Bleacher Report’s Howard Beck. “I can jump that high, but he can jump, too. So that’s the problem.”

Doncic and Porzingis both played in the Spanish league, so they are quite familiar with one another.

Off the court, Doncic’s goals are even more lofty. He has a tiger tattoo on his left forearm, and he likes the animal so much he hopes to own one someday.

“I just like tigers,” Doncic said. “I said if I go to U.S., I will buy a tiger — like Mike Tyson.”

Beck notes that Doncic laughed when making the comment, so he may have been joking. As Tyson could tell you, purchasing exotic animals is one of many ways to blow all of your career earnings. Doncic also wants to own a Porsche 911, a Lamborghini and a McLaren. If Jennifer Aniston is into any of those cars, perhaps the actress would grant Doncic his wish of going on a date.

“I hear she’s single now,” Doncic joked. “I mean, she’s nice. I just like her.”

When discussing fashion, Doncic jokingly said, “I’m coming for you, Westbrook,” which of course was a reference to Russell Westbrook and his infamous whacky wardrobe.

Doncic’s stock seems to be plenty high heading into Thursday, and there are reportedly multiple teams that could trade up to draft him. If the 19-year-old’s game translates to the NBA, it sounds like his personality could make him the type of superstar franchises dream of drafting.
