Luke Walton beats Steph Curry in shooting challenge (Video)
If Luke Walton’s 24-game winning streak to start the season did not command the respect of his players, maybe his ability to stroke it from downtown did.
The Golden State Warriors interim head coach took on reigning league MVP Steph Curry in a shooting challenge at practice on Wednesday morning at the team’s facility.
Walton, who was a 32.6 percent shooter during his 11-season NBA career, made five threes in a row from his favorite spot in the corner. Curry then took his shots from the top of the arc, and he bowed out after making a few in a row.

Was Curry just letting his coach win that one? It’s hard to say, but we know that when he wants to, Curry can go in stretches at practice where he doesn’t miss (here’s the video proof).
